On the last day of the rain-affected match on Tuesday, India got a target of 95 runs, which the Indian batsmen achieved in 17.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 51 runs. Kohli remained unbeaten on 29 runs. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant hit a four to give the team victory. Jaiswal was adjudged Player of the Match and Ashwin Player of the Series.

Before lunch, India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 runs in the second innings. Bangladesh had started the day with a score of 26/2. On Monday, India declared the first innings at a score of 285 runs for 9 wickets in 34.4 overs.

Team India had restricted Bangladesh’s first innings to 233 runs. Due to rain, the third and second day’s play had to be cancelled, while only 35 overs could be bowled on the first day.
