Not only a triple, but Tanmay also became the player to score the fastest double century in first class cricket. He had completed his double century in just 119 balls. Tanmay, who has hit 21 sixes so far, has also made the record of hitting most sixes in an innings of Ranji Trophy. 

On the very first day of the match being played between Arunachal Pradesh and Hyderabad, Tanmay achieved the feat of scoring the fastest triple century. By the end of the day, he had reached the score of 323 runs. Tanmay played this brilliant innings while playing in the opening, in which captain Gehlot Rahul Singh supported him very well.
