WPL 2024 (Women’s Premier League 2024) Details: Women’s Premier League 2024 i.e. Women’s IPL will start from Friday, February 23. The first match of the tournament will be played between defending champion Mumbai Indians and last season’s runner-up Delhi Capitals. This will be the second season of the five-team tournament. Timing of matches

All 22 matches of the tournament will be played from 7:30 pm. The final of the tournament, which started on 23 February, will be played on 17 March. 

Venue 

All 21 matches of the tournament will be played in Delhi and Bengaluru, with Arun Jaitley Stadium and M Chinnaswamy Stadium playing host. 

There will be a trophy fight between five teams

A total of five teams will participate in WPL 2024, which will fight for the trophy. The five teams will include – Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriors and Gujarat Giants. All teams will play 8-8 league matches. The team at the top will qualify for the direct finals, while an eliminator match will be played between the teams at number two and three to make it to the finals.
