AC Servicing Scam: As the heat is increasing, the demand for air conditioners (AC) is also increasing. As much as the demand for AC is increasing, the looting in the name of AC is also increasing. AC needs servicing 1-2 times in every season, otherwise it cannot cool properly. Old ACs also need repairing, but now there is a need to be a little alert while getting AC service or AC repair done, because nowadays a lot of fraud has started happening in the name of AC.

• Stay near the AC during service and pay attention to what the service engineer/mechanic is doing. 
• After the service, check the bill thoroughly to ensure that no unnecessary charges have been added. 
• Be sure to check the price of parts and service charges by visiting the official website of your AC.
• If gas refilling is required, do not get it refilled without checking the gas level as this is the most common scam.
