Skymet Weather forecasts light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and strong winds in Gangetic West Bengal. Some areas may also experience hail. Wind speeds could reach 50 to 60 km per hour in the region.
Rainy Outlook for Several States
The Meteorological Department predicts light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha, and East Madhya Pradesh. Lightning incidents are also likely, with wind speeds reaching 30 to 40 km per hour. Hail may occur in parts of Eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are expected to experience light rain from March 17 to 22. Western Disturbance may cause light rain in areas like Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.
