Attack on Pakistan’s second largest naval air station, BLA took responsibility

Pakistan Naval station Attack: Majeed Brigade of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the major attack on Pakistan's second largest naval air station.

Pakistan Naval station Attack: A major attack has taken place on Pakistan’s second largest naval air station. This attack took place on PNS Siddique Naval Air Station located in Turbat, Balochistan.

According to several Pakistani media reports, the Majeed Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Naval Air Station. Actually, BLA is not happy with Chinese investment in Balochistan. 

What did the Balochistan Liberation Army say?

The Balochistan Liberation Army claimed that its people had infiltrated the Naval Air Station. After this, they have killed more than a dozen people. Immediately after this, security personnel have been increased and continuous patrolling is going on. Action is going on against the people of Majeed Brigade. 

This is coming at a time when recently terrorists of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) armed with bombs and heavy ammunition entered the Gwadar Port Authority Complex. During this, Makran Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Umrani said that at least seven attackers who tried to enter the complex were stopped by the security forces in retaliation and their attack was foiled. 

Responsibility for this was also taken by the Majeed Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). 

Rising terrorist attacks in Pakistan 

This attack by BLA has come amid a rise in terrorist activities in Pakistan. Pakistani security forces are conducting targeted intelligence based operations (IBOs) to uproot the footprints of terrorist groups, militants and their affiliated groups, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

More than 90 terrorist attacks have taken place in Pakistan in February.
