Bangladesh Army Rule: The army has currently formed an interim government in Bangladesh. Responsibility has been given to 10 people, which includes journalists and many famous people. Now these 10 members will run the government. These also include representatives of a Hindu community. The new government of Bangladesh will be led by Dr. Salimullah Khan and Dr. Asif Najrul. Retired Justice Mohammad Abdul Wahab Mia, retired Army General Iqbal Karim, retired Major General Syed Iftikhar Uddin, Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Brigadier General (Retired) M Sakhawat Hussain, Dr. Hussain Zillur Rahman and Justice M A Matin will run the new government. Now the responsibility of running the government will be on their shoulders.

After resigning, Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka and came to India. This has created a situation of tension because Jamaat-e-Islami has threatened. It said that whichever country gives shelter to Sheikh Hasina, its embassy should be surrounded. Do not let the employees go out. In such a situation, security has been increased outside the Indian Embassy.
From Hindus to journalists included
Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya is an economist and belongs to a Hindu family. He has also been an economic policy advisor in Sheikh Hasina’s government. His father is a lawyer and mother has been a Bangladesh MP. He has also been Bangladesh’s permanent representative to the UN.
On the other hand, Dr. Salimullah Khan is a Bangladeshi writer and educationist. He belongs to a Bengali Muslim family and has studied law at Dhaka University. Dr. Asif Nazrul is a Bangladeshi writer and journalist. He has been writing on politics. Five retired army officers have also been included in the new government.Â
‘Emergency will not be imposed in the country’
Meanwhile, the army has given a big statement in view of the tense situation and violent protests in the country. The army said that no emergency will be imposed in the country right now. It is too early to discuss elections. At present, the army will run the government temporarily. A decision will be taken again after the situation comes under control.
India’s Action Plan for Bangladesh Unveiled: Center Briefs Opposition in All-Party Meeting
The Indian government is keeping a close watch on the situation after the coup in Bangladesh. The Center gave this information to the opposition leaders in an all-party meeting. The government said that there are currently 12000 to 13000 Indians in Bangladesh. However, the situation in the country is not so dire that its citizens have to be evacuated from there.
According to sources, in the meeting the central government said that we are keeping a close watch on every situation in Bangladesh. Whatever the situation, the opposition will be informed about it. About 8000 Indian students have returned from there. There is no need to evacuate the rest of the people yet. The central government said that no decision has been taken on Sheikh Hasina yet. The opposition is satisfied with the steps taken by the government.
These leaders participated in the all-party meeting
In the all-party meeting, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Prasad presented the government’s side. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah , Rahul Gandhi, SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav and many other opposition leaders attended the meeting.
Jaishankar Prasad tweeted that he gave information on the situation in Bangladesh in the all-party meeting. Jaishankar has appreciated the support received from the opposition in this matter.

In the meeting, Rahul Gandhi asked, is there a foreign hand in the situation in Bangladesh. Does India have any long term plan regarding this situation? What will be India’s action plan regarding the new government of Bangladesh? Other parties also raised questions during the meeting. However, the opposition said, we are with the government on this issue.Â
