Times 100 Most Influential People: Time magazine has released the list of the 100 most influential people of the year 2024. The list released on Wednesday evening also includes the names of two Indians. Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik and actress Alia Bhatt have found a place in the list of Time magazine.
Sakshi, India’s only female Olympic medalist in wrestling, has been included in this list by former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for her fight against alleged sexual harassment of female wrestlers. Actress Alia Bhatt has been included in this list for her contribution in the field of acting as well as public welfare work.

These personalities of Indian origin also got a place
The name of Hollywood actor Dev Patel of Indian origin is also included in this list. Dev Patel is an actor of Indo-British origin. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is also a person of Indian origin and he has also got a place in this list of Time Magazine. The name of Jigar Shah, Director of the Loan Program Office of the US Department, is also included in the list. Shah was born in Modasa, Gujarat.
Businessman Ajay Banga has also made it to the list of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people. Ajay Banga is the President of the World Bank and was born in Pune, Maharashtra. Famous chef Asma Khan has also found a place in this list. Born in Kolkata, Asma Khan is a famous chef and she is also the owner of London’s famous restaurant Darjeeling Express.
Yale University professor Priyamvada Natarajan has also found a place in Time magazine’s 100 most influential people. Born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Priyamvada Natarajan is a professor in the departments of Astronomy and Physics at Yale University. She is recognized worldwide for her study on black holes.
