Drone strike at Kuwait Airport captured on video; Terminal 1 roof collapses after Impact

Kuwait authorities have released surveillance footage showing the moment a drone struck Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport, causing a massive explosion and structural damage to the building.

The video, published by Kuwait’s General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), captures the initial impact followed by a fireball and partial roof collapse inside the passenger terminal. Officials described the incident as a “brutal Iranian aggression,” while confirming significant damage to airport infrastructure.

The attack resulted in the death of one person, an Indian national, and left at least 63 others injured. The strike also forced the temporary suspension of flight operations at the airport.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), however, denied targeting the airport, claiming the damage may have been caused by malfunctioning US-made defensive missiles rather than Iranian drones.

The incident is part of escalating tensions in the Gulf region involving Iran, the United States, and allied forces, with multiple strikes reported across strategic locations. Authorities in Kuwait have launched an investigation into the attack while emergency teams continue assessing damage at the airport.
