CG Rail Connectivity: A significant event is scheduled for October 20th, aimed at strengthening rail connectivity in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will attend the event, which is set to take place in the capital, Raipur. During the event, the Tadoki-Raoghat rail line and the Abhanpur-Kurud broad-gauge rail line will be inaugurated. Additionally, several rail services will be flagged off. The event will also feature the foundation stone laying for an electric locomotive maintenance facility in Raipur.
Events to be held at Raipur and Raoghat railway stations
This railway event will take place on October 20th, starting at 1:00 PM, at both the Raipur and Raoghat railway stations. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will flag off the trains, while Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will participate in the event via video conferencing.
Several Members of Parliament (MPs) to attend
It has been announced that several Members of Parliament—Rajeev Shukla, Ranjeet Ranjan, Laxmi Verma, Brijmohan Agrawal, Vijay Baghel, Bhojraj Nag, and Roop Kumari Choudhary—will be in attendance.
Focus on expanding rail infrastructure
The inauguration of the Tadoki-Raoghat and Abhanpur-Kurud rail lines is considered a major step toward expanding rail services in the state.
