Raipur: Sonam Sharma, a talented player from Bhilai, has been selected for the Indian netball team for the upcoming 14th Asian Netball Championship 2026. This prestigious tournament is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from August 8 to August 15, 2026. The Indian squad was officially announced today following a month-long national training camp; Sonam Sharma secured her spot in the final team thanks to her outstanding performance.
Sonam Sharma has enjoyed a stellar sporting career. She has previously represented the Indian team in both the Asian Senior Netball Championship and the Asian Junior Netball Championship. A talented player from the very beginning, she has consistently brought honor to the state at both national and international levels through her exceptional gameplay.
Office bearers and members of the Netball Sports Association Chhattisgarh—including President Meena Kerketta, General Secretary Rajesh Rathore, Vice President Rajesh Pratap Singh, Treasurer Yogesh Sahu, Executive Members S.
