Dinesh Chandimal Out; Kamil Mishara and Sahan Arachchige Get a Chance
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced the squad for the second Test against India just two days before the match. It has been confirmed that Dinesh Chandimal, who was forced to withdraw mid-match during the first Test due to a concussion, remains unavailable and will miss the second Test as well. Meanwhile, Kamil Mishara and Sahan Arachchige have been included in the squad. Neither player has made their Test debut yet; whoever gets the opportunity to play in the final XI will be making their debut. Additionally, Nishan Madushka, Ramesh Mendis, and Dilshan Madushanka have been dropped from the team.

Having lost the series opener, they face an uphill battle to salvage the second match, which is just two days away.
