The 97th meeting of the Board of Directors was held at the Corporation’s headquarters in Nava Raipur, presided over by Sanjay Srivastava. Discussions covered various topics, including compassionate appointments, Dearness Allowance (DA), bonuses, salary increments, and travel allowances. Decisions were reached regarding granting compassionate appointments to three eligible dependents, increasing the DA for approximately 800 employees, awarding bonuses to 105 daily-wage workers, and a proposal to increase the salaries of 109 Assistant Computer Programmers.
Employee DA Hike: Compassionate Appointments for 3 Dependents
A decision was made to grant compassionate appointments to the dependents of Corporation employees who pass away during their service tenure. This decision will benefit three eligible candidates, providing employment opportunities to the dependents of deceased employees and assisting with their families’ livelihoods.
DA Hike for 800 Employees
Details regarding the hike in Dearness Allowance (DA)—under the 7th Pay Commission—for approximately 800 Corporation employees were presented to the Board of Directors. This decision, taken in the interest of the staff, is expected to benefit a large number of employees.
Initiative on Bonuses for 105 Daily-Wage Employees
A decision was also reached regarding bonuses for the 105 daily-wage employees working in the Corporation. Instructions have been issued to send a letter to the Finance Department seeking approval for bonuses for the years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
Proposal for Salary Increment for 109 Assistant Computer Programmers
The issue of salary increments for 109 Assistant Computer Programmers—engaged by the Corporation through NIXI—was also raised during the meeting. The Board of Directors has directed that a letter be sent to the State Government regarding this matter. Budget of ₹15,116.82 Crore Approved
The estimated budget concerning the income and expenditure of the Civil Supplies Corporation for the financial year 2026-27 was also approved. An estimated budget amount of ₹15,116.82 crore was sanctioned during the meeting.
Order Regarding Travel Allowance to be Implemented in the Corporation
It was decided to implement the order issued by the Finance Department of the Chhattisgarh Government regarding travel allowances within the Civil Supplies Corporation as well. Additionally, other important matters concerning the Corporation were discussed, and necessary decisions were taken during the meeting.
