Mahtari Vandan Yojana: The 32nd installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana—an initiative for the economic and social empowerment of women in Chhattisgarh—will be released on October 8, 2026. During an event held in Durg, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will transfer a sum of ₹632,40,04,250 to the accounts of eligible female beneficiaries via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Mahtari Vandan Yojana was implemented in the state on March 1, 2024. A total of 7,027,154 women applied to avail the benefits of the scheme. Among them, 7,009,578 beneficiaries were found eligible, and the financial assistance was first transferred to them on March 10, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
So far, financial assistance amounting to ₹20,075.71 crore has been provided to female beneficiaries across 31 installments under the scheme. Following the payment of the 32nd installment, the total amount distributed under the scheme will rise to ₹20,708.11 crore.
67.38 lakh women to benefit from the 32nd installment
For the 32nd installment (October 2026), a total of 6,852,661 beneficiaries are eligible based on the updated status. Of these, 6,738,217 beneficiaries who have completed their e-KYC will receive a payment of ₹632.40 crore via DBT.
Additionally, the payment of the 12th installment for 6,903 beneficiaries under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana has also been approved. According to the government, women are utilizing the financial assistance received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for their social and economic empowerment, as well as for preventing malnutrition and anemia within their families.
