Chaos erupted during a live concert by Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma in Jaipur when a man suddenly climbed onto the stage. Startled by his unexpected arrival, Sunanda Sharma was visibly shaken and let out a loud scream. A video of the incident is now going viral on social media.
Sunanda Sharma, known for hit songs such as “Jatt Yamla,” “Jaani Tera Na,” “Pagal Nahi Hona,” and “Chori Chori,” performed on October 30 at the Anand International College of Engineering in Bassi Dayarampura, Jaipur. While the event was proceeding smoothly, this sudden incident left the audience stunned.
Man suddenly appears on stage; singer screams
In the viral video, Sunanda Sharma can be seen singing on stage when a man wearing a white shirt suddenly jumps onto the stage and approaches her. Taken aback by his sudden appearance, Sunanda panicked and screamed loudly.
Security personnel present at the venue immediately intervened, apprehended the man, and escorted him off the stage. During the commotion, Sunanda could be heard repeatedly saying, “It’s okay, it’s okay.” However, clearly shaken by the incident, the singer left the stage shortly thereafter. As of now, there has been no official statement from the 34-year-old singer regarding the matter.
Sunanda has also spoken openly about her struggle with depression
Previously, in a podcast hosted by Shubhankar Mishra, Sunanda Sharma spoke candidly about her personal life and mental health, touching upon a difficult period when she battled depression.
The singer revealed that she had once confined herself to a room in total darkness for two months and 17 days. During this time, she had also almost entirely stopped communicating with her family members. She shared that whenever she felt hungry, she would knock on the door and ask her mother for food.
Sunanda also mentioned that she had reached out to some psychiatrists, but at the time, she felt as though no one truly understood her pain. This difficult phase prompted her to reflect deeply on issues such as mental health, relationships, marriage, and financial independence.
A similar incident has occurred during a live show in the past as well.
This is not the first time Sunanda Sharma has faced such a situation during a live performance. Previously, during an event at RKGIT in Ghaziabad, a student allegedly attempted to behave inappropriately toward her.
Following that incident, Sunanda stated that the young man in question had apologized to her. In that instance, the individual also released a video acknowledging his mistake.
