Mobile Sim Scam: The need for a SIM card in a mobile phone is not hidden from anyone, but do you know that scammers can take a SIM card in your name and misuse it. In such a situation, you need to be very cautious. If scammers are running a SIM card in your name, then it can be detected. For this, we will tell you about a special method, through which you will know how many SIM cards have been issued in your name or Aadhaar card.

To know this information related to SIM card, you can use Sanchar Saathi portal tafcop.sancharsaathi.gov.in . Here you have to tap on Citizen Centric Services and then click on Know Your Mobile Connection. You can check about mobile connection here.

How to spot a SIM card scam

Here you have to enter your mobile number and type the captcha. For this, an OTP will come on your mobile number and you have to enter that OTP. When you share the OTP, all the details will appear on the screen. Here you will know how many SIM cards have been issued in your name.

If you come to know that someone is using a SIM card in your name, you can report that number and also lodge a complaint. After this, the government will investigate the numbers which are running in your name and about which you have complained. If the number is issued fraudulently, the government will block that number.

Recently, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has changed a rule regarding SIM card. Due to this rule, after SIM swapping, that SIM cannot be ported to another company for 7 days. This rule will be implemented from July 1.
