According to the report, the accused person Metson committed the murder in March. The last capture of the deceased Bramley in the CCTV footage was on March 17, 2023 when she was returning to her home. After committing this murder, the accused had been continuously denying the allegations of murder in March for several weeks. However, Metson had allegedly told the policemen that Bramley had gone with a women’s help group on March 19. At the same time, now the accused has confessed to the murder, but officials told Lincoln Crown Court that Metson has not revealed the reasons behind this heinous murder. The court will now pronounce its verdict on his sentence on Monday (March 8).
The body was cut into pieces in the bathroom of the flat
According to media reports, after killing his wife, the accused Nicholas had kept her remains in the kitchen store. The accused had killed her with a sharp knife and cut her body into pieces in the bathroom. After receiving a complaint from the family, the police started an investigation into Bramley’s well-being.
The suspicion grew due to the strong smell of ammonia and bleach powder
The couple’s house was inspected by Lincolnshire Police on March 24, 2023. During this time, the policemen also got suspicious when they smelled a strong smell of ammonia and bleach powder from the flat. After this, it was seen that blood-soaked sheets were seen in the bathtub of the bathroom and black spots were seen on the floor. When these spots were forensically examined, they were found to be of Bramley’s blood.
Police say that looking at the house it seemed as if it had been recently renovated. During police interrogation, Matson claimed that he was a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of his wife. He also showed the marks of injury on his arm. Both of them got married in the year 2021 and were now going to separate.

According to the report, when the police searched Bramley-Matson’s flat and could not find Bramley, a day later a search was conducted in Basingham’s Witham river with the help of divers. Actually, a passerby passing near the river had reported seeing plastic bags floating. A human hand was also seen in it. After this, during the search, the police recovered 224 pieces of Bramley’s body. However, some parts of Holly Bramley’s body have not been found yet.Â
