Heat Wave Warning: In the beginning of May, people are suffering due to the scorching heat in the entire North India. Many people are falling ill due to the heatwave. In many states, the temperature has already crossed 40 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, keeping oneself cool and cold is a big challenge.

Guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry

Most people are suffering from dehydration due to stepping out of the house in the heat or strong sunlight. In view of the heatwave, a special guideline has been issued by the Union Health Ministry. Under this guideline issued along with Beat the Heat, it has been advised to take certain precautions.

As the heat increases, the Health Ministry has issued guidelines regarding heatwave. It has been advised to drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and cool. At the same time, advice has also been given on what to do first if a person falls unconscious.

Health Ministry issued guidelines

In a tweet issued by the Ministry of Health, it has been said that people have been given special advice to avoid heatwave. The Health Ministry has clearly said that it is very important to stay away from heatwave. Because heat causes nervousness, in which it is very important to keep the body cool. Keep yourself hydrated and drink as much water as possible. Drink as much water as possible to keep yourself fit in summer. Wear cotton clothes. Stay at home or in cool places. During this time, if a person faints, do not give him water immediately.

What do the experts say?

According to health experts, if a person faints in the heat, do not make the mistake of giving him water immediately because he has a lot of difficulty in drinking water. Instead of going into the stomach, the water can go into the lungs. This can cause a lot of difficulty in breathing.

When water enters the lungs, one can suffer from pneumonia. When a person is unconscious, giving him any liquid like water in the wrong way causes the balance of electrites in the blood stream to deteriorate. This can lead to heart-related problems.
