Nitin Gadkari on Diesel Vehicles:Â Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said a big thing about diesel during a CII program. Gadkari advised people to say goodbye to diesel soon. Not only this, the minister has also appealed to car manufacturing companies to stop manufacturing diesel vehicles.
Nitin Gadkari says that if the production of diesel vehicles is not stopped soon, he will impose so much tax on these vehicles that it will become difficult to sell them. According to Nitin Gadkari, we will soon have to leave petrol and diesel and move on a new path to become pollution free.
Gadkari is constantly working to reduce pollution caused by fuel and its import. Gadkari also said that I will demand 10% additional GST on diesel vehicles from the Finance Minister.
This was said before
Earlier, while referring to his car, Nitin Gadkari had said that my car runs on ethanol. If you compare this car with petrol, it costs Rs 25 per kilometer, while ethanol costs even less than that. A liter of ethanol costs Rs 60, while the rate of petrol is above Rs 120.
Nitin Gadkari had also said that I want petrol and diesel vehicles to be completely phased out in the next 10 years. Gadkari talked about introducing electric vehicles in the market in place of these petrol and diesel vehicles.
Nitin Gadkari said that in today’s time, electric scooters, cars and buses have emerged as an excellent option. If you spend Rs 100 on diesel, then electricity will cost only Rs 4.Â
