Bhojpuri Actress Suicide: Bhojpuri actress Annapurna alias Amrita Pandey died under suspicious circumstances on Monday in Divyadharma Apartment located at Adampur Jahaj Ghat in Bhagalpur Jogsar police station area. On getting information about the incident, the police of Jogsar police station reached to investigate the matter. The police has got the FSL team to investigate the incident. The sari noose around the neck, mobile and other material have been seized from the spot. According to family members, Annapurna had also worked in many films and serials, web series and advertisements including Bhojpuri and Hindi.

Whatsapp status is being discussed
Before dying, Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey wrote on her WhatsApp status that ‘Her life is riding on two boats, we made her path easy by sinking our boat’. Meanwhile, according to the police of Jogsar police station, they received information in the evening that a woman has committed suicide in the apartment. On receiving the information, SHO Krishna Nandan Kumar Singh, SI Rajiv Ranjan and Shakti Paswan reached the spot. On reaching the flat, Amrita’s body was lying on a bed. When the police took information, the family members told that around 3.30 pm her sister went to Amrita’s room. There she was hanging from the noose.
In a hurry, the family members cut the noose with a knife and immediately took him to a local private hospital, but he was declared dead there. After this, they brought him back to the flat.

Family members said that Amrita’s sister Veena’s wedding was at home a few days ago. They had a lot of fun on Friday night. What happened again suddenly? No one is able to understand. They told that Amrita was married to Chandramani Jhangad, a resident of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in 2022. He is an animation engineer in Mumbai. They do not have children yet. According to the sister, Amrita was very worried about her career. She was very depressed. Because of this, she was also undergoing treatment.
Apart from Bhojpuri films, Amrita was also working in some web series. She had also played roles in many serials and other films. Recently, the first part of Amrita’s horror web series Pratishodh has been released. She was also very excited about this. At the same time, the police station in-charge said that the case is being investigated from every angle.
