The teaser for the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Awarapan 2 has been released. Fans had been eagerly awaiting the first glimpse for a long time, and that wait is finally over. This sequel to the 2007 cult classic had already generated significant buzz; fans were excited right from the moment the film was announced. The news of Disha Patani joining the cast further heightened their anticipation. Various behind-the-scenes glimpses had already captured public attention, and now the teaser has taken the internet by storm, showcasing Emraan Hashmi alongside other stars. The teaser also offers a glimpse of Emraan Hashmi among Buddhist monks, where he is shown undergoing treatment. Then he says, “Death is strange, too; it touched me but didn’t claim me.” The story then moves abroad, where Imran is seen engaging in a ring fight. Shabana Azmi and Disha make their entry against the backdrop of the line, “I share a bond with pain.” The teaser concludes with Imran Hashmi’s fighter look and the explosive dialogue: “This time, either Awarapan ends, or I do.”
Film Release Date
Along with the glimpse provided by the teaser, the release date for this film—produced under the Vishesh Films banner—has also been announced. The film is set to hit theaters on August 14. While releasing the teaser, the makers wrote in an Instagram caption: “The 19-year wait is finally over. Shivam is making a comeback. You kept his story alive; now, he returns to take it forward.
