IIFA Awards 2024: IIFA 2024 was hosted in Abu Dhabi on 28 September to honor the best talents of Indian cinema. In this award ceremony, awards were also given in categories ranging from Best Actor to Best Film and Special. While Shah Rukh Khan got the title of Best Actor, Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’ got 5 awards.
Bollywood’s ‘Badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan received the Best Actor award for his 2023 blockbuster film ‘Jawaan’. While receiving his award, Shah Rukh Khan touched the feet of filmmaker Mani Ratnam, who was present on stage to honour him, and warmly hugged AR Rahman.

‘Animal’ won 5 awards
The film ‘Animal’ received awards in 5 categories. ‘Animal’ won the title of Best Film at IIFA 2024. Bobby Deol, who appeared in a negative role in the film, was awarded for his performance. Anil Kapoor was honored with the title of Best Supporting Actor for ‘Animal’.
‘Animal’ won 2 awards in the music category: Ranbir Kapoor starrer film ‘Animal’ also received two awards in the music category. The first award was given to ‘Sataranga’ in the best music direction and the second award was given to ‘Sataranga’ in the best song category.
Shabana Azmi and Rani Mukherjee were also honored
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi was awarded in the Best Supporting Role (Female) category for the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Rani Mukerji won the Nexa IIFA 2024 trophy for her heart-wrenching role in the film ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’.
Hema Malini and Alizeh Agnihotri got award in special category
Hema Malini was given the Outstanding Achievement Award in Indian Cinema. Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri was awarded the Best Debut Actress of the Year for her brilliant performance in ‘Farey’.

Bollywood stars made this night even more memorable with their brilliant performances. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal gave a powerful dance performance on stage. The audience danced with excitement after watching Shahid Kapoor’s dance with Prabhu Deva and Kriti Sanon.
