It has been 14 days since ‘Shaitaan’ hit the screens and the audience is still hooked to the film in theatres. The Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan starrer film has been earning great money since the beginning and is making records one after the other. The film is doing strong business at the domestic box office as well as worldwide.

Ajay Devgan starrer action-thriller film ‘Shaitan’ has made five big records by making a great collection at the box office. ‘Shaitan’ has won the title of the second highest grossing film of the year 2024 worldwide. In terms of collection, Ajay Devgan-R Madhavan’s film has surpassed ‘Teri Baatein Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’.

‘Shaitan’ became the second biggest Hindi film of 2024

According to the report of ETimes, ‘Shaitan’ made a tremendous collection of Rs 162 crore worldwide with its 14 days earnings. With this, ‘Shaitan’ has defeated Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer romantic comedy ‘Teri Baatein Aisa Ulza Jiya’. Let us tell you that ‘Teri Baatein Aisa Ulza Jiya’ had collected Rs 145 crore worldwide and became the second biggest film of the year, but now ‘Shaitan’ has made this record in its name.

Ajay Devgan has defeated many of his own hit films

Through ‘Shaitan’. The action-thriller film has so far defeated the lifetime collections of hit films like ‘De De Pyar De’ (103.64 crores), ‘Raid’ (103.07 crores), ‘Son of Sardar’ (105.03 crores), ‘Bol Bachchan’ (102.94 crores), ‘Singham’ (100.30) and ‘Golmaal 3’ (106.34).

Ajay Devgan’s 14th 100 crore film

‘Shaitan’ has earned a total of 114.37 crores at the domestic box office. The film entered the 100 crore club in just 10 days. After becoming a part of the 100 crore club, ‘Shaitan’ has become the 14th 100 crore film of Ajay Devgan’s career. 

Defeated Shahrukh Khan!

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Shaitan’ has joined the 100 crore club and has defeated Bollywood’s King Khan i.e. Shahrukh Khan. Salman Khan holds the record of giving the maximum number of 100 crore films so far. The actor has given 17 100 crore films so far. Akshay Kumar is at the second position in this list whose 16 films have become a part of the 100 crore club so far. Shahrukh Khan was at the third position earlier but with ‘Shaitan’, Ajay Devgan has now taken this place.
