Saif describes it as the worst night of his life
Recalling that night, Kareena said, “I was screaming on the street, ‘Stop, stop!’ It was just like a scene from a movie.” Saif Ali Khan described the incident as the worst night of his life. He shared details about the severity of his injuries and the struggle to keep his composure during such a difficult time. Saif noted that remaining calm in front of their children during the ordeal was an immense challenge.
Intruder broke into their home on January 16, 2025
On January 16, 2025, an intruder entered Saif and Kareena’s apartment in Bandra and held their domestic help hostage. When Saif intervened, the attacker struck him with a knife. Injured, Saif was immediately rushed to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw, where he underwent surgery that lasted for about six hours.
Three days after the incident, the Mumbai Police arrested the accused, Mohammad Shariful. According to the report, the court rejected a second attempt by the accused to plead guilty. Following this, the trial in the case commenced.
