Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has initiated the application process for the recruitment of 3,047 apprentices. Candidates who have passed the 10th or 12th grade, or hold an ITI certificate, diploma, or a graduation degree, are eligible to apply. Interested and qualified candidates can submit their applications online until November 20, 2026.

Educational Qualifications and Age Limit
Specific educational qualifications have been set for the various apprenticeship positions at ONGC. Candidates must have passed the 10th or 12th grade, or possess an ITI certificate, diploma, or a degree such as a B.Sc., B.E., B.Tech., or BBA.
Regarding the age limit, candidates must have been born between November 29, 2002, and November 29, 2008. This means the minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age is 24 years. Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a merit list, which will be prepared according to the marks obtained in their respective educational qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered email addresses.
The merit list will be released by ONGC on December 15, 2026. Following this, the selected candidates will be required to undergo a document verification process. Candidates who successfully complete the document verification process will be appointed to apprentice positions.
Monthly Stipend Details
Candidates selected for the ONGC apprenticeship will receive a monthly stipend based on their educational qualifications and trade.
Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month
Three-year Diploma: ₹10,900 per month
Two-year ITI: ₹10,560 per month
One-year Trade Apprentice: ₹9,600 per month
Trade Apprentice (10th/12th pass): ₹8,200 per month
