AgriStack Registration: Paddy procurement rules changed in Chhattisgarh; procurement will now take place via AgriStack, and registration is mandatory by October 31.

Agri Stack Registration: The Chhattisgarh government has introduced a major change to simplify the paddy procurement process. For the 2026-27 Kharif marketing season, farmers will no longer need to register separately on the state government’s Integrated Farmer Portal to sell their paddy; registration on the central government’s Agri Stack portal has been made mandatory for procurement. The Food Department has issued detailed guidelines regarding this to all District Collectors, the Director of Food, and the Managing Director of the Apex Bank. A significant relief is that the facility for Agri Stack registration will now also be available at the societies.

Login ID and Password to be Provided

Login IDs and passwords will be provided to society operators for Agri Stack registration so that farmers do not have to run from pillar to post for the process and can get the work done at a single location. According to the department, for selling paddy in the 2026-27 financial year, only the land area reflected in the digital crop survey recorded on the Agri Stack portal will be considered valid.

Registration Until October 31

Farmers who did not sell paddy in the previous season and do not possess an Agri Stack Farmer ID or Farmer Code must first register on the portal. Subsequently, they must visit the society or procurement center to have their land record details (Khasra), bank details, and nominee information entered into the online society module. This task will be carried out by the society.
