Bahraich Violence: After the death of a youth in stone pelting and firing after Durga Visarjan in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, the uproar is not taking the name of stopping. The family members of the deceased Ramgopal Mishra refused to cremate the body. At the same time, hundreds of people came out on the road with the body and shouted slogans against the police administration and demanded strict action against the accused. On Monday morning, after the post-mortem, when the police administration reached the village with the body of Ram Gopal Mishra, who was killed in the firing, the villagers got furious. After which the villagers went towards the tehsil with sticks in their hands and protested fiercely and raised slogans, during which the crowd blocked the road by placing the body on the road.

Villagers alleged that Ram Gopal Mishra was killed due to police negligence. The police did not say anything to the other side while our people were beaten with sticks. Case filed against 10 people including 6 named accused Abdul Hameed, Sarfaraz, Faheem, Share Khan, Nanakau and Marf Ali in Bahraich violence case. More than 30 people have been detained so far. The accused are also being searched.

1- A procession was taken out for the immersion of the Durga idol in Maharajganj town of Mahsi tehsil in Bahraich on Sunday . The procession was going towards the ghat via Maharajganj.
2- About three kilometers before the ghat, people of a community objected to the loud DJ music being played in front of a religious place. A debate started over this.
3- Tension spread in the area during the alleged attempt to remove the flag from the building. Firing took place from a house and stone pelting started. The statue was broken in the stone pelting and a riot began.
4- During this, Ram Gopal Mishra, who was a part of the procession, died after being shot. The crowd took Ram Gopal Mishra to the medical college, where he was declared dead.
5- After this the crowd got agitated. There was a lot of vandalism. Even vehicles were vandalised. The immersion of Durga idol was also stopped in the entire area. The crowd threatened not to immerse the idol until action was demanded.
