CG Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026: There is good news for candidates aspiring to become assistant teachers in government schools in Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Employees Selection Board (CGESB) has issued a notification for the Assistant Teacher recruitment examination at the request of the Directorate of Public Instruction, marking the commencement of the recruitment process. Online applications for the recruitment will be accepted starting July 24, 2026, and interested candidates can apply until August 21, 2026.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online, and the examination fee must also be paid digitally. The recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled for October 11, 2026. To ensure convenience for candidates, examination centers will be established across 16 districts of the state. In accordance with the state government’s policy, the examination fee paid by local residents of Chhattisgarh who appear for the exam will be refunded.
This amount will be credited to the same bank account used to pay the fee at the time of application. The Selection Board has urged candidates to thoroughly review the educational qualifications, age limits, eligibility criteria, exam rules, and other essential guidelines before applying.
