CG Crime: A major case involving an attempted ATM theft has come to light in Bastar district. On Sunday night, miscreants arrived fully prepared and attempted to loot money by ripping the ATM machine—located at Nagar Bazaar—out of its mounting. However, they failed to extract the cash. Following the incident, the accused fled the scene, leaving the cash box abandoned on the road. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Nagar police station.
According to reports, the miscreants first reached the ATM and uprooted the machine. They then attempted to remove the money from the cash box but were unsuccessful. After failing to extract the cash despite repeated attempts, they abandoned the cash box on the road and fled.
Suspects Captured on CCTV
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Police are currently examining CCTV footage from the vicinity and questioning locals. Efforts are underway to identify and locate the suspects captured on CCTV. The exact number of individuals involved in the incident has not yet been determined. The police have stated that the accused will soon be arrested and the entire case will be solved.
