CG Crime News: A shocking incident involving the murder of a security guard stationed at the Juvenile Observation Home in Bilaspur district has come to light. The discovery of the body on Monday morning caused a stir across the premises. The deceased has been identified as Narendra Kumar Khande, a resident of Araiband in Takhatpur. Preliminary reports allege the involvement of four minors in the crime; they are currently absconding. According to reports, the four minors first assaulted the guard, then tied his hands and feet, strangled him, and stuffed a cloth (gamcha) into his mouth before fleeing the scene. The deceased had been working as a guard there for the past year.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Sarkanda police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Following the inquest proceedings, the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased arrived at the Juvenile Observation Home upon hearing the news. They allege that Narendra Kumar Khande was denied his weekly off-days and claim that “Singh Sir” and the Superintendent (Madam) orchestrated the murder.
The police have mobilized various teams to search for the juvenile offenders. A forensic team is examining CCTV footage and evidence recovered from the crime scene. The motive behind the murder has not yet been ascertained.
