CG Electricity New Rates: Consumers, already distressed by inflated bills resulting from delayed meter readings in June, are set to face another blow. The impact of the new electricity rates—announced by the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission and effective from July 1, 2026—will be reflected in the bills received in August. Under the new rates, the electricity tariff has been increased by 30 to 50 paise per unit across all consumer categories.
