Raipur: A timeline has been fixed for the preparation of the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR) of state government employees. In this regard, the General Administration Department has issued a letter to all heads of departments, divisional commissioners, and collectors.
The letter directs that for government employees whose APARs for the 2025-26 period could not be completed within the originally scheduled timeframe, the reports must now be prepared using the new format—via either online or offline modes—within the newly prescribed deadlines.
Accordingly, the deadlines have been revised as follows: self-appraisal is now due by August 31, 2026 (instead of May 15, 2026); assessment by the reporting officer by September 30, 2026 (instead of June 15, 2026); assessment by the reviewing officer by October 30, 2026 (instead of July 15, 2026); and assessment by the accepting officer by November 30, 2026 (instead of August 16, 2026).
