CG Railway Update: Railways has decided to introduce special arrangements for devotees attending the 79th Annual International Nirankari Sant Samagam. Two pairs of express trains passing through the South East Central Railway (SECR) zone have been granted a temporary two-minute halt at Bhodwal Majri station in the Delhi Division of Northern Railway.
Benefit available from September 20 to October 31
In view of the increasing movement of devotees, Railways has decided to launch this facility 10 days ahead of schedule. While the temporary halt was originally slated to begin on September 30, the facility will now be available from September 20 to October 31, 2026.
Halt for Hirakud Express
Train No. 20807 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express will arrive at Bhodwal Majri station at 3:48 PM and depart at 3:50 PM after a two-minute halt, effective from September 20 to October 31.
In the return direction, Train No. 20808 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express will arrive at Bhodwal Majri at 5:56 AM and depart at 5:58 AM.
Durg-Udhampur Express will also halt
Similarly, Train No. 20847 Durg-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) Express will arrive at Bhodwal Majri station at 8:41 AM and depart at 8:43 AM.
Meanwhile, Train No. 20848 Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur)-Durg Express will arrive at the station at 9:35 AM and depart at 9:37 AM.
This temporary halt arrangement by the Railways will facilitate travel for devotees arriving from across the country to attend the Nirankari Sant Samagam. It is expected to provide added convenience for passengers traveling to and from the vicinity of Bhodwal Majri station.
