CG Vyapam Fee Refund: The Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board has released a special link for candidates whose examination fees have not yet been refunded. Candidates who did not receive the refund in their accounts due to technical reasons can now update their bank account details by accessing their profiles.
Refunds Delayed Due to Technical Reasons
According to the notification issued by the Board, the process of refunding application fees for candidates who are natives of Chhattisgarh and participated in Board-conducted examinations is underway. Application fees are collected via an online payment gateway and refunded through the same channel. However, in some instances, the amount could not be credited back to the respective accounts due to the expiration of the online transaction timeframe or technical errors. To resolve this issue, a special link has been made available within the candidates’ profiles.
What Needs to Be Done Now?
Candidates with pending refunds must visit the link provided in their profiles and enter their correct bank account details. Once the bank details are updated, the Board will complete the refund process.
Government Changed the Examination Fee System
The previous government had made all Vyapam and PSC examinations free of cost. The current government has modified this system; application fees are now charged for all examinations. However, application fees are refunded to candidates who are natives of Chhattisgarh and actually appear for the examination. Candidates who remain absent from the exam do not receive the benefit of the fee refund.
Important Information for Those Applying via Cyber Cafes
Vyapam had previously clarified that many candidates—particularly those from rural areas—submit their applications through cyber cafes. Often, the cafe operator pays the application fee using their own bank account. In such cases, the refund is credited back to the same bank account used for the initial payment. Therefore, if the fee was paid from another person’s account, the refund will also be credited to that same account.
What Should Candidates Do? Candidates who have not yet received a refund of the application fee should update their bank details via the special link available in their profile and follow the instructions issued by the Board.
