Chhattisgarh Holiday: There will be a government holiday in Chhattisgarh on 4th September on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed on this day. After this, due to Teacher’s Day on 5th September and Sunday on 6th September, students can get a chance of holiday for three consecutive days.
Janmashtami holiday on 4th September
There will be a government holiday in the state on 4th September on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Due to this, along with government offices, schools and colleges will also remain closed. Religious events will also be organized across the state regarding Janmashtami. This holiday has become special for students and staff because of its connection with the weekend.
Teacher’s Day on 5th September
Teacher’s Day will be celebrated on the next day of Janmashtami i.e. 5th September. This day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Although it is not necessary that all schools have a mandatory holiday on Teacher’s Day. Teachers’ Day programs can be organized on this day in many schools. There may also be holidays in some educational institutions as per local arrangements.
Sunday holiday on 6th September
After this, it is Sunday on 6th September. Sunday is a weekly holiday in most of the government institutions including schools and colleges. In this way, students can get three consecutive days off including Janmashtami holiday of 4th September, possible school holiday of 5th September and Sunday of 6th September.
