Chhattisgarh Judge Transfers: The High Court has issued orders regarding the posting of 56 newly selected Civil Judges (recruited via the PSC) and the transfer and posting of 15 judicial officers. Under various orders and notifications issued by High Court Registrar General Rajnish Srivastava, several judges from both the Higher Judicial Service and the Lower Judicial Service have been transferred. Additionally, the 56 newly appointed Civil Judges (Junior Division)—currently on probation—have received their first postings. All these newly appointed officers have been instructed to assume charge at their respective places of posting by August 29.
Furthermore, five judges from the Higher Judicial Service have been transferred. Harish Kumar Awasthi, Judge of the Dantewada Family Court, has been appointed as the First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Raipur. Mamta Patel has been transferred from Ambikapur to serve as the Second Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur; Jyoti Agrawal from Pendra Road to Judge, Rajnandgaon; Namita Minj Bhaskar from Dhamtari; and N. Singh Sahu from Rajnandgaon to the post of Additional District and Sessions Judge (FTC), Dantewada. Additionally, Neeraj Sharma, the First Additional District and Sessions Judge in Raipur, has been appointed as the Special Judge for the Raipur Special Court dealing with cases under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. In Ambikapur, Kamlesh Jagdalla has been assigned the role of Additional District and Sessions Judge, while Smita Ratnawat has been appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge (POCSO).
In the Civil Judge (Senior Division) cadre, Satish Kumar Khakha has been transferred from Pratappur and appointed as Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and First Civil Judge (Senior Division), Mungeli. Meanwhile, Bhagwan Das Panika has been posted to Pratappur, Shweta Patel to Chhuikhadan, Ishan Vyas to Durg, and Nilesh Jagdalla to Rajnandgaon. Ravi Kumar Kashyap, the Second Additional Judge in Durg, has been appointed as OSD at the High Court on deputation. Seven judges from the Civil Judge (Junior Division) cadre have also been transferred.
