Raipur: Rajesh Dave, former Secretary of the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association (CSCS) and a former Ranji Trophy player, has been appointed as the manager of the Indian women’s cricket team for the upcoming Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has entrusted him with this significant responsibility.
Previous Experience with the Indian Women’s Team
Rajesh Dave has worked with the Indian women’s cricket team in the past as well. In 2019, he served as the team’s manager during a tour of Australia. Given his experience, he has once again been entrusted with the responsibility of the national team.
Women’s T20 Asia Cup Begins on August 28
The Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 is scheduled to be held from August 28 to September 13, 2026, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. The Indian team will kick off its campaign with a match against Thailand on August 30.
Match Against Pakistan on September 5
