Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai returned to Chhattisgarh on October 6 following a three-day visit to Singapore. Upon arriving at Raipur Airport, he spoke to the media, sharing details about his visit and the investment-related agreements and proposals discussed there.
Chief Minister Sai stated that during the visit—held from October 3 to 6—he participated in the ‘India Growth Forum 2026.’ He presented investment opportunities and the state’s industrial capabilities to representatives from the business community. He noted that proposals totaling ₹43,600 crore for investment in the state were received during the trip.
Largest Investment Proposal in the Energy Sector
According to the Chief Minister, discussions were held with various representatives from Singapore’s business sector, and they were invited to invest in Chhattisgarh. He mentioned receiving an investment proposal worth approximately ₹41,750 crore from Energy Capital Global.
Additionally, Agri-Business Value International proposed an investment of around ₹350 crore. Meanwhile, a proposal worth approximately ₹1,500 crore for the solar sector was received from Sun Stream Green Energy; the company plans to operate in the fields of battery storage and related components.
CM Sai stated that the materialization of these investment proposals is expected to boost employment opportunities and accelerate local economic activities.
MoU Signed for IT Education Services
The Chief Minister mentioned that an MoU regarding IT education services was also signed during the visit. He toured the organization’s IT campus and gathered information about the skill development model implemented there, describing it as a globally renowned model.
Regarding the implementation of these investment proposals and MoUs, Chief Minister Sai stated that the government is proceeding only after a thorough review of all agreements and proposals. He stated that he wishes to assure the people of the state that the government will work earnestly to translate these agreements and investment proposals into reality, ensuring that the public reaps the benefits.
Events to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s public service
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Sai also provided details regarding the BJP’s ‘Seva Jyoti’ program. He mentioned that various events are being organized across the country under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign) to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life.
The Chief Minister noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed the responsibility of Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. To commemorate this milestone, 13 different types of programs are being organized nationwide, including the ‘Seva Jyoti’ program. The Prime Minister will address the nation today, and his speech will be broadcast at all district headquarters.
CM Sai recalled that on September 17, citizens across the country had offered their blessings to the Prime Minister by lighting lamps. He affirmed that efforts would be made to carry forward the ‘flame of service’—symbolizing the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all)—that Prime Minister Modi has ignited.
