Major change by CGPSC! New Mains syllabus to be drafted based on candidates’ feedback; here’s how to submit your suggestions.

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is preparing to revise the syllabus for the State Service Main Examination. To make the examination more transparent and candidate-friendly, the Commission has invited suggestions from aspirants. Interested candidates can register online via the official portal to submit their suggestions. Candidates who are already registered can log in using their existing user IDs to submit their feedback. According to the Commission, the syllabus will be reviewed based on the suggestions received. However, the proposed changes will not affect the current recruitment process, and the upcoming examination will be conducted according to the existing syllabus.

Candidates to Help Shape the Syllabus

For the first time, the CGPSC has sought the opinions of candidates regarding potential changes to the Main Examination syllabus. The Commission aims to align the syllabus with current requirements and the evolving nature of competitive examinations, thereby making the process more effective and beneficial for students.

Suggestions Can Be Submitted via Online Portal

The CGPSC has made the suggestion submission process entirely online. Interested candidates must register on the Commission’s official portal. Those already registered can log in using their existing user ID and password to submit their suggestions directly. The Commission has set a one-month deadline for submitting suggestions, starting from the date the notification was issued.

No Impact on Current Recruitment Process

The CGPSC has clarified that the proposed syllabus revision will not affect the ongoing State Service recruitment process. The Main Examination for candidates participating in the current recruitment cycle is likely to be conducted based on the previously established syllabus. The Commission stated that the new syllabus, formulated based on the received suggestions, will be implemented in future State Service examinations to ensure candidates have sufficient time to prepare.
