Mutton Shops Closed: In view of Anant Chaturdashi and the Paryushan festival, the sale of meat and mutton has been banned in the capital, Raipur, for two days. Issuing an order to this effect, the Raipur Municipal Corporation has directed that meat and mutton shops remain closed on September 25 and 26.
Ban on sales on September 25 and 26
According to the Municipal Corporation’s order, the sale of meat and mutton will be completely prohibited in Raipur on September 25 and 26. During this period, Municipal Corporation teams will monitor shops across the city, as well as hotels and other establishments where meat or mutton is likely to be sold or served.
Action against rule violations
The Municipal Corporation has clarified that if any shop, hotel, or other establishment is found selling meat or mutton despite the ban, the stock will be confiscated on the spot. Additionally, action will be taken against the concerned individual or entity in accordance with the rules.
The Municipal Corporation has appealed to the concerned traders to comply with the order during the specified period.
