The postmortem report said that there was medical evidence of forceful ‘penetration’ of her genitals – indicating the possibility of sexual assault. The West Bengal government has taken a big action in the case of vandalism in RG Kar Medical College. Three officers of Kolkata Police have been suspended on charges of negligence.
