NEET UG 2026: The seat allotment results for the first round of Rajasthan NEET UG counseling have been released. Under this process, seats were allotted to General category candidates with an All India Rank (AIR) of 14,220 and a score of 589, whereas in the first round of central counseling, seats were allotted at a rank of 22,342 and a score of 572. In the Rajasthan counseling process, the closing rank was 8,122 places higher (better), and the closing score was 17 marks higher compared to the central counseling.
Parijat Mishra, a career counseling expert at a private coaching institute, stated that Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College in Jaipur was the top choice among candidates for government medical colleges, while the Government Medical College in Jaisalmer was the least preferred. For government MBBS seats in Rajasthan, the closing rank for the NRI category was 1,039,206, corresponding to a score of 205. For NRI candidates from other states, the closing rank was 996,205, with a NEET UG score of 213.
Points to note for the subsequent stages of counseling:
- Candidates can print their online allotment letters until September 5; these can be generated using their registered login ID and password. Within this same timeframe, they must also deposit the first-year tuition fee specified in the allotment letter via online mode.
- Candidates allotted seats in government or private medical and dental colleges must report to the Academic Block of SMS Medical College, Jaipur, by September 5 with their original certificates and documents.
- Candidates are required to carry the final printout of their application form (in four sets), all photocopies requested therein, and their original documents.
- The online payment slip for the fee mentioned in the allotment letter must also be carried along.
- This marks the first round of allotment for the Rajasthan NEET UG state-level counseling. Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted college have the option of a “free exit.” This way, the candidate will also be able to participate in the second round of the allotment process.
If satisfied with the allotted college, the candidate must confirm their acceptance at the college desk; there is no need to proceed to subsequent rounds after this.
