Providing an update on Saturday, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that contact has been re-established with 50 Indian nationals and a total of 108 people have been rescued; relief and rescue operations are ongoing.

Fourth flight from India carrying relief supplies arrives in Kathmandu
India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, tweeted, “The fourth flight from India arrived in Kathmandu carrying 11 tonnes of relief supplies—including blankets, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, plastic sheets, and hygiene kits. This flight also brought an additional technical team equipped with gear for search and rescue operations within the tunnel.”
