PM Kisan 24th Installment: There is important news for farmers who are beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central government has released the 24th installment of the scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the funds for this 24th installment on October 30 from Banaskantha, Gujarat. Under this, Rs 2,000 has been transferred to the bank accounts of over 9.34 crore eligible farmers across the country.
Receiving this installment before Diwali has brought relief to crores of farmers. However, there are still many farmers who have not yet received the Rs 2,000 in their bank accounts. If you are a beneficiary of this scheme and have not received the installment amount, there is no need to worry. This could be due to certain technical issues or discrepancies related to documentation. Let’s look at the possible reasons why an installment might be held up and how you can check your status.
Why might a PM Kisan installment be held up?
To receive the benefits under the PM Kisan scheme, farmers must complete certain mandatory procedures. If any of these are incomplete, the payment may be withheld.
Incomplete e-KYC: It is mandatory for all beneficiaries of the scheme to complete their e-KYC. If you have not completed this process, your installment may be held up.
Aadhaar-Bank account linking: It is essential for a farmer’s bank account to be linked with their Aadhaar card, and the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility must be active.
Incorrect bank account details: Providing an incorrect bank account number or IFSC code during the application process can lead to issues with the payment.
Verification of land documents: If the verification of your land-related records is not complete, the payment of the installment may be halted.
