Rajasthan Transfer Update: The Directorate of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, has provided significant relief to female staff members currently on maternity leave regarding the recently issued transfer orders for Senior Teachers and Basic Computer Instructors. In a new order, the Directorate clarified that female teachers currently on maternity leave will not be relieved from their duties immediately.
The transfer orders issued on July 8 and July 10, 2026, had stipulated that the concerned personnel must be relieved within 10 days of the order’s issuance. The Directorate has now clarified that female staff members currently on maternity leave will be mandatorily relieved within five days of assuming duty after their leave concludes.
The order issued by the Director of Secondary Education also states that, apart from this modification regarding maternity leave, all other terms and conditions of the transfer orders remain unchanged. This order grants immediate relief from the transfer process to female teachers on maternity leave, allowing them to assume charge at their new posting in accordance with the rules once their leave is over.
