BJP Manifesto, Elections 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the BJP’s manifesto. It has been named Sankalp Patra. Many kinds of promises have been made in it. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Party President JP Nadda were present on this occasion. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the Constitution maker Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. Modi said in a post on ‘X’, ‘Tribute to Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. Jai Bhim.’ Along with this post, PM Modi also shared a video based on his speeches on Baba Saheb Ambedkar in various programs.
In its manifesto, BJP has talked about running programs for the welfare of youth, farmers, women etc. It has also promised to provide insurance facility to fishermen and develop Srianna (coarse grains) as a superfood. It has also promised to open Eklavya schools. It has also promised to work for the welfare of SC/ST and OBC.

Five important points of BJP’s manifesto
1. Employment guarantee
In its manifesto, BJP has put the most emphasis on employment guarantee. Through employment guarantee, Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to win over the young voters. The opposition is also constantly attacking BJP on the issue of employment.
2. Women’s reservation
The Narendra Modi government passed the Women’s Reservation Bill last year. This law, called ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Act’, talks about 33 percent reservation for women in the Legislative Assembly and State Assemblies. The Bharatiya Janata Party has said that it will implement it in its third term.
3. Development of agricultural infrastructure
The Bharatiya Janata Party has also tried to win over the farmers in its Sankalp Patra. The BJP has promised that it will work on agriculture infrastructure and work on several schemes for farmers to improve agriculture.
4. Respect for OBC-SC-ST in every field
Rahul Gandhi and other opposition parties have been constantly talking about giving reservation to OBCs. Rahul Gandhi had also made it a big issue during the assembly elections held in five states last year. In such a situation, to woo OBCs, SCs and STs, BJP has promised to give respect to these three in every field in its Sankalp Patra.

On the occasion of the release of the manifesto, BJP National President J.P. Nadda said, “Work has been done to connect 60,000 new villages with paved roads and all-weather roads have been built. We never imagined that villages would be empowered, or that optical fiber would reach the villages.
But today I am happy that under your leadership, 1.2 lakh panchayats have been connected with optical fiber and they have also been connected with internet facilities. 25 crore population of India has now risen above the poverty line. According to the International Monetary Fund, extreme poverty in India has now come down to less than 1 percent.”
He said, “Today is the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar dedicated his entire life to the fight for social justice. Following the path of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, from Bharatiya Jana Sangh to Bharatiya Janata Party, whether in power or not, has always fought this social battle. 10 years are proof of the fact that Modi’s guarantee is a guarantee that the guarantee will be fulfilled.”
Launched a nationwide campaign for the manifesto
To prepare the party’s manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections, the party ran a nationwide campaign and took suggestions from people through various mediums. On one hand, the party went to the assembly level across the country and took suggestions from people through video vans, and at the same time, it also took suggestions from business, trade and intellectual organizations by holding meetings in more than 100 cities of the country.
Along with this, the party also ran a missed call campaign on a large scale and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself urged the people of the country to send suggestions through the NaMo app.
