CM Council Meeting: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers at its headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday (July 27). Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in it. Chief Ministers of all BJP-ruled states were called in this meeting. PM Modi emphasized on good governance in this meeting.

According to sources associated with the party, all the states were asked to implement each other’s best practice models. Along with this, the Prime Minister asked to work in mission mode to achieve the target of 100 percent saturation of all the schemes of the central government. 13 Chief Ministers and 15 Deputy CMs of a total of 16 NDA-ruled states attended the two-day Chief Ministers Council meeting which began at the BJP headquarters. As there is no BJP Chief Minister in Maharashtra, Bihar and Nagaland, the Deputy CMs of these three states participated in the meeting.
What was discussed in the Chief Minister Council meeting?
According to sources, in this meeting, there was discussion on how the Centre and the state can strengthen the federal structure by complementing each other and by better coordination. Apart from this, what problems are the state governments facing in their work? How can the Centre help? This was also discussed. Prime Minister Modi also presented the road map of the Central Government to the Chief Ministers. The Chief Ministers gave information about the best schemes of their states. The objective of the meeting is also to promote Centre-State party coordination and strengthen the overall party strategy.
Analysis of the Lok Sabha elections and strategy for the upcoming assembly elections are also included in the agenda
Top BJP leaders, including BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah, attended the meeting. The agenda of the meeting includes analysis of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections , formulating strategies for the upcoming assembly elections and implementation of central and state schemes in the respective states.
