Elections 2024, BJP Candidates List: BJP on Tuesday (April 16) released the 12th list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections . In this list, the names of candidates for seven seats in four states have been announced. Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale, who is from the 13th generation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, has been given a ticket from Satara seat of Maharashtra. Udayanraje Bhosale, who has been made the BJP candidate from Satara, has been active in the politics of the region for a long time. He is currently also a Rajya Sabha member. The name of the candidate has been announced for only one seat in Maharashtra. At the same time, Abhijit Das has been given a ticket from Diamond Harbor seat of West Bengal. He is going to face TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee.

Who did BJP give tickets to in Punjab?

BJP announced the names of 73 candidates in UP
BJP has announced the names of candidates for two seats in Uttar Pradesh. Thakur Vishwadeep Singh has been given ticket from Firozabad, while Shashank Mani Tripathi has been made the candidate from Deoria. The ticket of current BJP MP Ramapati Tripathi has been cut from here. BJP has so far announced the names of candidates for 73 seats in UP. There are 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP and it is the state with the highest number of Lok Sabha MPs.
The Lok Sabha elections will begin with the first phase of voting on April 19. Like last time, this time the voting will be conducted in 7 phases. The results will be announced on June 4.
