Modi Cabinet 3.0 Portfolio: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath along with 71 ministers of the new NDA coalition government on Sunday (June 9). Of these, 30 are cabinet ministers, five are ministers of independent charge and 36 are ministers of state. After the first meeting of the Modi cabinet on Sunday (June 9), the BJP has kept the Home Ministry, Defense Ministry, and Foreign Ministry with itself.

In the Modi cabinet, Amit Shah has again been given the responsibility of the Home Ministry and Rajnath Singh has again been given the responsibility of the Defense Ministry. The Ministry of External Affairs is with S Jaishankar. At the same time, Nitin Gadkari has again been given the Ministry of Road Transport. Ajay Tamta, Harsh Malhotra have been made Minister of State for Road Transport. Nirmala Sitharaman has again been given the responsibility of the Finance Ministry. Ashwini Vaishnav has been made the Minister of Railways and Information and Broadcasting.
Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has been given two ministries. He has been made Energy and Urban Development Minister. Jitan Ram Manjhi has been given the MSME Ministry. Shobha Karandlaje will be the Minister of State for MSME. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been made Agriculture Minister. The new ministers inducted into the cabinet arrived at the first meeting of the Modi 3.0 cabinet at the Prime Minister’s residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg at around 5 pm. Many leaders including JP Nadda, Piyush Goyal, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, S Jaishankar, Lallan Singh, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chirag Paswan, Giriraj Singh attended this meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi.
In the Modi cabinet meeting, it was decided to build 3 crore houses in urban and rural areas under the PM Awas Yojana. Apart from this, it was decided to provide LPG and electricity connection to all the houses.

This time many new faces have also been given a chance. Some of them have been former CMs, while some leaders belong to well-known political families of the country.
In fact, 33 new faces have got a chance in the Modi 3.0 cabinet. Among them, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Manohar Lal Khattar and HD Kumaraswamy have joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s cabinet for the first time. Apart from this, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Chirag Paswan have been given the responsibility of important ministries.
