Holi 2024 Celebration: Holi is called the festival of colors and enthusiasm is being seen all over the country about it. After Holika Dahan, people are celebrating Holi today.

Holi 2024 Updates: The festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country today (March 25). There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about this festival of colors. On Sunday (March 24) night, people burnt Holika with devotion and then Holi started. People were seen applying color and gulal on each other and wishing Holi. Holi is being celebrated in different parts of the country. 

On the occasion of Holi, people were seen shopping in markets from Delhi to Mumbai till late Sunday night. Some bought gulal, while others had reached the market to buy Gujiya. People’s shopping is complete and people have been immersed in the festive atmosphere since morning. In the pictures coming from different parts of the country, it can be seen how people are wishing Holi by applying colors to each other. 

President Draupadi Murmu has greeted

President Draupadi Murmu has greeted the countrymen on the eve of Holi. She said that Holi also inspires us to strengthen our cultural heritage. Holi is a vibrant and joyous festival, which fills our lives with hope and enthusiasm. She said that the various colors of Holi symbolize the diversity of our country. This festival promotes the feelings of love, unity and brotherhood among the people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished the countrymen a Happy Holi and hoped that this traditional festival decorated with the colours of love and harmony brings new energy and enthusiasm in everyone’s life. In a post on ‘X’, the Prime Minister said, “Many many Holi wishes to all my family members in the country, may this traditional festival decorated with the colours of love and harmony bring new energy and enthusiasm in all your lives.” Holi is being celebrated in the country on Monday, while in some parts the festival of Holi will be celebrated on Tuesday.

Delhi Traffic Police in action, action will be taken against those who break the rules

More than 100 special teams of Delhi Traffic Police have been deployed in 50 circles on Holi. The traffic police team will patrol the whole day. Immediate action will be taken against those creating a ruckus on Holi. The main focus of the traffic police will be drunken driving, triple riding, driving or riding without helmet, dangerous driving, zigzag driving, red light jumping, dangerous driving, driving by minors, driving without seat belt, tinted glass and people driving while talking on the phone.

In Bihar’s capital Patna, people performed ‘Holika Dahan’ and started the celebration of Holi. People were seen applying colors to each other with enthusiasm. In this way, the celebration of Holi started in Patna.
